Digital Goa, July 3 – A fire broke out at a restaurant and luxury spa in Calangute on Thursday morning, causing significant damage to the property. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Eight spa rooms on the first floor were damaged in the blaze. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire was likely triggered by a short circuit in the air conditioning system. The financial loss is estimated to run into lakhs of rupsses . The incident occurred around 8 am. Firefighters from the Pilerne and Mapusa fire stations were called in to bring the fire under control.
