Digital Goa, August 1 – A fire broke out near the National Theater in Panaji on Friday afternoon around 3 pm, affecting three shops including a laundry, a cycle shop, and a stationery store. According to preliminary reports, the blaze is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. Fortunately, the shops were closed for lunch at the time of the incident and no one has been injured. Fire and emergency services managed to douse the flames.
