Digital Goa, Feb 5 – Fire & Emergency Services(FES) staffer Navnath Zore has been arrested by Collem police in yesterday’s hit-and-run case at Mollem which had claimed the life of a 23-year-old bike rider. The truck driven by Navnath who works as driver at FES had hit the two-wheeler which 23-year-old Shivkumar Singh was riding. He died on the spot while the 25-year-old pillion rider Ashish Sahu has been grievously injured in the accident and is being treated at GMC Hospital. After the accident, Navnath left the truck a little ahead of the accident site and fled away from the scene. He was apprehended by Collem police late night yesterday. Incidentally, Shivkumar who hailed from Madhya Pradesh had arrived in Goa hardly 15 days back and was working in a Telecom company’s Ponda office.
