Digital Goa, Sept 12 – Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has notified that any activity of selling or storing fish within one kilometre radius of the notified fish markets at Baina and Vasco shall be prohibited and illegal under the Municipality Act. The notified fish markets owned by MMC are located at Baina and Vasco da Gama under Chalta No. 9 to 14 of P.T. Sheet No. 152 and Chalta No. 33 of P.T. Sheet No. 88. “Any person residing within one km of the above locations having any objection is hereby called upon to file the objection in writing within seven days from the date of publication of this notice,” stated the public notice issued by the municipality.
