Digital Goa, Jan 17- Directorate of Fisheries has invited applications within a period of 30 daysfrom the eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) for obtaining subsidies under various schemes. The subsidies offered range from a few thousand to over Rs 30 lakh. Special subsidies are also offered for women, SC and ST under the scheme. Subsidies are offered for various activities such as acquisition of deep Sea fishing vessels for traditional fisherman, Fish Value add Enterprises Unit, Establishment of Biotoilets in Mechanized Fishing vessel, Stocking of fingerlings in wet land etc.
