Digital Goa, August 12 – Fatorda police have detained five accused in the Mungul, Margao deadly assault case. The five accused are identified as Akshay Talwar and Rahul Talwar (both of Borda, Fatorda), Wilson Carvalho, Shahrukh of Davorlim, and Rasool of Margao. They along with around 15 unidentified masked men have been booked for violent attack on Yuvkesh Singh Badaila and his friend Rafiq in the early hours of August 12. Police said the gang, armed with deadly weapons and travelling in 5 cars, intercepted the victims’ car near Sagun Restaurant, Mungul, and assaulted them with soda bottles and a koyta, causing serious injuries. One masked assailant allegedly fired two shots at the complainant, striking his car. The attackers then fled the scene.
