Goa based FLY91 to connect over 50 cities across India in the next 5 years

FLY91 (Just Udo Aviation Private Limited) is a pure play regional airline headquartered in Goa, that strives to enhance air connectivity across tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India. The Base:
Manohar International Airport, Mopa is the airlines home base.

The airline has been allocated its first set of routes under the government’s Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) UDAN. The routes include Sindhudurg and Jalgaon in Maharashtra and Agatti in Lakshadweep, along with other business and leisure destinations, namely Bengaluru, Goa and Hyderabad. The airline currently operates flights into Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Sindhudurg, Agatti and Jalgaon. 

On board experience:

  • All in-flight snacks, including fruit juices, are accessible at a flat fee of Rs 100
  • From Tropical flavors to Exotic Surprises: The beverage and snack options available on flight are inspired from the fruits grown in the region. Juices and snack options include Aam Panha Surprise, Cashew apple, Classic Kokum Magic, Exotic Jamun Surprise, Tangy Bimbli Delight, Divine Mango Fantasy and Cashew nuts among others
  • Revive nostalgia with the Amar Chitra Katha on board, for Rs 100

Uniforms:

  • The cabin crew uniform is designed for Comfort and Efficiency
  • Inspired by FLY91’s butterfly logo, the vivid uniforms are made of breathable fabric
  • Gender neutral uniforms which are climate appropriate, comfortable and professional
  • Designed in-house, the uniform borrows Goa’s ethos
  • The crew has the option to wear their name tag in their own regional language

Future Plans:

35 Aircraft | 5 Bases | 60 months

The initial 6 aircraft will be based in Goa, followed by Noida, Navi Mumbai and subsequent bases.As part of FLY91’s growth plan, the first six aircraft are going to be based at Goa’s MOPA Airport, which is the airline’s home base from where the aircraft will connect 8-10 cities.

FLY91 said it aims to operate a new base annually over the next 5 years, and in every base, will place 6-7 aircraft. The 5-year plan is to induct a fleet of 39 aircraft, with each base covering between 8-10 cities. At the end of the 5-year mark, FLY91 will cover 50 cities, through 6 bases and about 39 aircraft placed across the country. The average flight duration  is 60 to 90 minutes.
