Oct 23 – Three unidentified persons allegedly attempted to kidnap a Margao resident at gunpoint from Aquem, today morning. As per reports the incident occurred when Kunal Raikar had gone to drop his children to school at Aquem. People present at the venue saw that he was being forced towards the kidnappers car at gunpoint and rushed to his rescue. Seeing the crowd gather, kidnappers fled from the scene. The incident has triggered concerns over safety and security of residents.
