Digital Goa, Nov 25- Pointing out that several hotel business owners and others who provide accommodation to foreigners are not registering the details of foreign guests on Bureau of Immigrationin time bound manner, as mandated by law, Goa police have warned of prosecuting the violators. Police have instructed Hotel owners, Guest houses, Individuals, Service Apartments, owners who let out or provide accommodation to foreigners etc. to transmit the C- Forms to FRRO or FRO within 24 hours after the arrival of foreigners in their premises as mandated under Section 16 of Foreigners (Amendment Order 2016). The Law mandates the accommodators to register their details in the online C-Form system on the Bureau of Immigration (BoI) website https://boi.gov.in/. “Failure to comply would invite prosecution U/Sec 16 of Foreigners (Amendment Order 2016) r/w Sec 14 of Foreigners Act 1946. To avoid Legal Action, Register online for submission of C-forms on the portal at the earliest,” states a notice issued by police.
