The state cabinet has approved the proposal to host the Formula 4 Goa Street Circuit Race at Mormugao from October 31 to November 2, in association with Racing Promotion Private Limited and the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG). CM Pramod Sawant said the Goa government will spend ₹52 crore on the international motorsport event, to be held in the state for three years, while the organisers will invest ₹176 crore.Majority of the government’s share will go towards creating infrastructure, he added.
