Digital Goa, Oct 13 – Nine tourists, including four from Karnataka, two Russians, and three from Kolkata, were rescued over the weekend after getting caught in rip currents. At Calangute, four Karnataka men were saved in two separate incidents by lifesavers using rescue tubes and boards. At Agonda, three Kolkata tourists were rescued by a surfboard. At Sinquerim, two Russian women were brought to safety by a lifesaver, while three others swam back on their own.
