Digital Goa, Dec 25 – National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has formed a team comprising four senior officials to review the Kalasa Nala Diversion Project Area and Wildlife Conservation Scheme, part of the Mahadayi Project, reported a Karnataka based print media. The authority has also directed that the team should visit the spot and submit a report within a month. The team will include NTC Tiger Unit Scientist, NTCA Authority Assistant Director General of Forests, Cauvery Irrigation Corporation Advisor and Belgaum Circle Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF). The team is likely to visit the project area in the last week of December, the report adds.
