Digital Goa, May 15 – FRRO Goa has deported nine foreign nationals so far in May and detected seven more overstaying foreigners during an enforcement drive at Mandrem today, May 15.Those detected during the Mandrem operation included five Russian nationals, one Ukrainian national and one South African national, against whom legal action has been initiated.The nine foreign nationals deported this month include five Ugandan nationals, three Russian nationals and one Nigerian national. Authorities said blacklisting proposals have also been initiated in appropriate cases. FRRO Goa said 27 overstaying foreign nationals of various nationalities have left the country since January this year, while 120 overstaying foreigners, including 29 Bangladeshi nationals, were deported or exited during 2025.
