Oct 21 – Quepem police have recover ganja from the car of the accused in the hit and run case at Quepem which claimed a young life. The accused identified as Rainbert Dias from Quepem had hit several bikes yesterday night at Padamol, Sirvoim, Quepem and fled from the scene. 26-year-old two-wheeler rider Abdul Khadar Badsha had died in accident while 24-year-old Sofiyan Shaikh has received severe leg injuries. The accident had occurred at around 11.45 pm yesterday night. Rainbert who had fled from the scene was later nabbed. Police have also slapped charged under NDPS on him for being in possession of 12.66 grams ganja worth approx Rs 12,000.
