Digital Goa, May 28 – Minister Govind Gaude, who is at the center of a controversy over his remarks on corruption in the Tribal Welfare Department, has now disowned his earlier statement. He blamed the media for distorting his words to create a controversy against him. Speaking to the media after meeting CM Pramod Sawant in the wake of the controversy, Gaude clarified that he had not said anything against the CM. “CM Pramod Sawant is my friend, and I haven’t made any allegation of corruption against him. This is a creation of the media,” he said. Meanwhile, CM Sawant confirmed that Gaude had met him to offer his clarification but refused to divulge further details
