Digital Goa, June 2 – Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C) has floated a ₹5 crore e-tender for the deployment of a Network Management System (NMS) and Help Desk Solution (HDS) to monitor and manage around 2,500 extended connectivity nodes under the Goa Broadband Network (GBBN). The project aims to provide centralized monitoring, fault management, performance tracking, ticketing and reporting for the state’s broadband infrastructure, which connects government offices, panchayats, educational institutions and other public establishments across Goa. The proposed system will initially cover 2,500 network devices, including routers, switches, OLTs, ONTs, wireless devices, firewalls and power systems.
