Digital Goa, May 26- State Environment Department has increased GCZMA scrutiny fee by substantial amount for certain categories of structures. Revised Scrutiny fees for the applications submitted to the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority(GCZMA) has been notified by the State Environment Dept. There has been substantial increase in fees in categories such as temporary structures on beaches, beach weddings & events, construction of hotels and resorts etc. Proposal for Revised fees was approved in GCZMA meeting held on March 9, 2023.
Revised Fees
▪️ Permission for Erection of Temporary Structures i.e Shack/Hut/Cottage/Tent
₹ 1000/- per sq mtrs for Shack & ₹500/- per sq. mtrs for Hut/cottage/tent. (New Permission for 7 years).
(Previous fees – ₹ 500/- per sq. mtrs. for shack and ₹ 100/- per sq.mt hut/cottage/tent for 5 years. ₹ 300/- per sq. mtrs. for Shack ₹ 200 per sq. mtrs for Hut/Cottage/Tent (existing permission given to five years) )
▪️ Permission for Beach Wedding / Event/ Setup
₹ 100,000/- per day (75% concession for School / Institution and 50% for the Government Department/Charitable Trust, Non Profit Organization no fees applicable
(Previous Fees – ₹ 50,000/- per day)
▪️ Permission for New Construction of Hotel / Resort
₹ 1000/- per sq mtrs of (Built- Up Area)
(Previous Fees – ₹ 500/- per sq mtrs of (Built-Up Area))
▪️ Permission for New Bund Wall / Retaining Wall / Compound Wall / Boundary Wall
₹ 25,000/- general, ₹ 50,000/-( Commercial use i.e Hotel/Resort /Beach Resort/Hotel Villas)
(Previous Fees – ₹ 25,000/- for all categories )
Following new Fees have been introduced
▪️ Permission for Wire Fencing / Bio Fencing / Wire Mesh Fencing – ₹ 15,000/
▪️ Permission for Repair of Existing Jetty / Platform / Ship Repair – ₹ 50,000/-
▪️ Permission for Open Air Hall – ₹ 700/- per sq. mtrs for 7 years (New Permission)
Following fee have not been revised and remain same as before
▪️ Permission for Repair and Renovation of existing house / Structure. – ₹ 15,000/-
▪️ Permission for Reconstruction / Restoration of Existing House / Structure -₹ 25,000/-
▪️ Permission for Construction of New House / Structure – ₹ 50,000/-
▪️ Permission for Construction of Concrete Jetty/ Permanent Jetty / Ship Building Yard / Dock Yard / Construction of barge loading & Unloading Jetty – ₹ 2 lakh
▪️ Permission for Construction of New Floating Pontoon Jetty / Temporary Wooden Jetty – ₹ 1 lakh
