    Digital Goa, Feb 17 – A note from GMC Hospital Administration warning GMC staff to refrain from having food from street vendors outside the hospital alleging that recycled waste water from Super Specialty Block is used by them for cooking, has gone viral on social media. The note, issued yesterday, meant of internal circulation among hospital staff has gone viral. Netizens and Goan from all walks of life have expressed concern over the issue, demanding through probe in the matter. Some have even flagged the circulation of the note as a ploy to replace the vendors with other food business operators. The note alleges that local Gadas, shops, canteens existing on the street in front of Super Speciality Block and Goa Medical College are utilizing water from the outdoor Garden Faucets which itself a STP/ WASTE WATER from SSB hospital which is not very safe for drink and to cook food. The street vendors on their part have refuted the allegations made in the note.

    GMC administration issued another Note today afternoon announcing that the earlier Note issued by them yesterday, Feb 16 stands withdrawn with immediate effect.
