Dec 11- The Goa Mineral Ore Exporters’ Association (GMOEA) has claimed that there will be financial and reputational impact of halted mining transportation at Vedanta Sesa Goa’s Bicholim mine, citing losses of nearly Rs 2 crore daily to the company. Secretary Glenn Kalavampara urged authorities to resolve the stalemate swiftly, emphasizing the need for practical interim solutions and adherence to “ease of doing business” principles. The GMOEA said that they are optimistic about an amicable resolution between village groups and the operator. GMOEA asserted that as grants are now being obtained at a premium, the primary responsibility of addressing the concern equally vests with the Government with no additional cost to the lessee.
