Digital Goa, August 13 – CM Pramod Sawant on Thursday said the Goa Assembly elections are likely to be held in February 2027, while clarifying that the final election schedule will be decided by the Election Commission of India (ECI). “As much as I know, the Assembly elections will be held in February 2027. But when exactly they will be held will depend upon the Election Commission of India,” Sawant said. The term of the present, 8th Goa Legislative Assembly is due to end in March 2027.
