Digital Goa, Jan 23 – Resolution taken in Goa Legislative Assembly will not have any impact on Kalasa-Bandura project work, asserted Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai while speaking to media persons in Belgaum. Asserting that Mahadayi Water Dispute Tribunal’s order is equal to the Supreme Court order, Bommai said that tender will be called as soon as Forest Clearance is obtained. “Based on the order of the tribunal, we have begun the work legally. The decision by the Goa assembly will not have any impact. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Kalasa-Banduri project has been approved. As soon as the forest clearance is obtained, the tender will be called,” he said.
