Jan 30 – Government of Goa has decided to commence the new Academic Year from April 1 from the Academic Year 2025 -2026 for the grades 6 to 10 and grade 12 for government, government aided and unaided recognised Schools in the state. A circular to this effect has been issued by the Directorate of Education today. However, several instructions are issued for effective implementation of the new pattern with effect from the year 2025-2026. The classes will be conducted in the month of April up to 11:30 am. The students to whom this pattern is applicable will have summer vacation from May 1, 2025 to June 3, 2025 and the schools will follow regular timings from 4.6.2025 onwards.
