Digital Goa, Oct 3- The Goa Cashew has received the prestigious GI tag. The entry for the Goan Cashew (processed kernel) was published in the journal of the Geographical Indication (GI) Registry, which isthe final stage in the process of obtaining a GI status, in May 2023. The application for the GI tag was made by by Goa Cashew Manufacture’s Association (GCMA), Panaji.
