Digital Goa, July 23 – Goa–Gatwick direct flight by Air India, suspended in June 2025 after the Ahmedabad crash, should be resumed at the earliest, CM Pramod Sawant has urged in a letter to Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. He pointed out in his letter that the suspension had impacted not just passengers but also employment and tourism opportunities and sought early restoration of the service. CM had assured the house on Monday that he would write to the Union Minister in this regards.
