Digital Goa, Jan 6 –Goa govt has notified the Drone Policy 2022 with a vision to position Goa as one of the key states in India’s drone ecosystem,. The objective of the policy is to promote drone design, manufacturing, testing and maintenance facilities in the State. The policy also aims to encourage the use of drones for innovative delivery of citizen services with a focus in the areas of agriculture, forestry, horticulture, healthcare, mining and tourism. The Policy shall remain in operation for a period of five years.
