Digital Goa, Oct 17 – Goa govt is fully prepared to argue the Mhadei diversion case if it comes before the Supreme Court in the week of Nov 28, informed AG Devidas Pangam. He said that regular meetings are being held with senior advocates in Mumbai in this regards. “One written submission has already been filed. Additional written submissions are also getting ready. In 10-15 days those too will be filed. We are ready with all arguments,” he said. He went on to assert that Karnataka is not undertaking any work related Mhadei diversion as of now and that they do not have the requisite permissions. “Our Chief Wildlife Warden’s permission is also needed,” he said. When queried about the tenders floated by Karnataka for the Kalasa Bhandura work, AG said, “Tenders and all are their internal matters. But they cannot carry out any construction work without requisite permissions.”
