Digital Goa, Jan 8 – Goa Govt has proposed declaring parts of Akamol area of Cuncolim village in Salcete Taluka as an Investment Promotion Area following an application from Shirdi Steel Re-Rollers Pvt Ltd to increase its production capacity by installing two new machineries. The proposal has been approved in principle by the Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board.The area under consideration spans 13,409 sq. m. (Survey No. 338/1 part) and 2,900 sq. m. (Survey No. 339/0 part) in Cuncolim. The government has invited objections from the public, if any, to be submitted in writing to the Director of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Panaji, within one month from the publication of the proclamation in the Official Gazette.
