Digital Goa, Oct 13 – Goa government has told the High Court that the appointment of a new Lokayukta is in progress and will be completed within six weeks. Taking note of this assurance, the court disposed of the petition filed by TMC leader Trajano D’Mello. The Lokayukta’s post has been lying vacant since December 2024, when Justice (retd) Ambadas Joshi’s term ended.
