The Goa government has constituted a common cadre of Group C employees across the North Goa, South Goa and Kushavati district collectorates and the Directorate of Settlement and Land Records.The cadre covers 17 categories of posts, including Awal Karkun, Circle Inspector, Talathi, Head Clerk, stenographers, surveyors, draughtsmen, UDC, LDC, drivers, bailiffs and multi-tasking staff. Other Group C posts may be added through future notifications. The notification provides for a common seniority list to regulate appointments, transfers and promotions in accordance with applicable recruitment and service rules and takes effect from November 4.
