Digital Goa, Oct 18- Goa govt today issued circular to schools directing them to pay revised salary to Bal Rath drivers and attendants from June 2023. The salaries of Bal Rath drivers was increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 17,000 and that of attendant from Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000. The circular has asked the schools using Bal Rath services to pay the revised salary from this month and also to pay arrears from June 2023. Schools are also asked to pay these salaries directly to the bank account of Bal Rath workers. Bal Rath workers had started agitation in Panaji demanding higher salary and other demands from yesterday.
