Digital Goa, Oct 10- Goa govt has mooted a centralised e-auction portal to cater to the forward and reverse online auctioning needs of its various entities. Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited (ITG) has initiated process to roll out the single solution to carry out Electronic Auction (E-Auction) as per the requirements of various departments of the government. The solution is expected to help various Government of Goa entities including Government Departments, Corporations, Autonomous Bodies etc to conduct different types of auctions electronically. The customized software will be used by Goa Housing Board to conduct auction of plots, flats, etc. , Goa Electricity Department to conduct auction of scrap generated of transformers, wires, conductors, etc., Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited to Conduct auction of old buses and machineries , Goa Waste Management Corporation to conduct auction of materials like old plants, equipment, machinery, vehicles, furniture and fixtures, etc., Public Works Department to conducts auction of scrap materials, vehicles, furniture, etc, GIDC to conduct auction of industrial plots etc. for forward as well as reverse e-auction.
