Goa govt mulls developing Mapusa, Vasco and Margao as ‘smart cities’

Digital Goa, June 29 – After Panaji, the Goa government is considering developing three other major towns as smart cities under the Central Government’s AMRUT scheme. Speaking at a function at the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the government aims to implement the Smart City project in Mapusa, Vasco, and Margao in the future. He added that “Green Goa, Clean Goa” is a mission of the government and sought the support of the industry to make it a success.
