Digital Goa, Sept 4- Goa Government is contemplating setting up a monitoring mechanism for registration of all the dentists coming from outside of the state. A portal is proposed to be created to enable everyone to register with the state Government, informed Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. “We are ready to take strict actions against people duping foreigners by faking as a dentist if complaints are registered. Besides, strict action will be taken against those who do not comply with the regulations. Also, each doctor will have to notify if he is getting any other doctors from outside the state for additional treatments like implants, dental surgeries and other services,” he added. During Dentist conference held yesterday CM Sawant had flagged the issue of ‘fake’ dentists in coastal belts.
