Digital Goa, Aug 21 – CM Pramod Sawant remained non-committal when asked if Goa govt would expedite the declaration of tiger reserve in Goa to prevent the diversion of river Mhadei by Karnataka. On the backdrop of statement from Union Minister and Karnataka MP Prahlad Joshi in Huballi that tiger corridor would hinder the progress of Kalasa-Bhanduri project, CM was asked if Goa govt would expedite the process of declaration of Tiger Reserve. “It is not important who said what. Goa govt is serious about Mhadei. May it be the Mhadei PRAWAH or following up the matter with Supreme Court, we are doing everything possible,” Sawant said. He was speaking on the sideline of a function at Mapusa.
