Digital Goa, Mar 13- Goa govt will enroll 143 Home Guard Volunteers in the Home Guards and Civil Defence Organization. The appointment will be on daily duty allowance basis initially for a period of three years only. The candidates who have already served as home guard volunteers earlier shall not apply again, states the notice issued in this regards. The enrolled Home Guard Volunteers will be paid duty allowance of Rs 878 per day. Those in the age group of 20 years to 50 years are eligible to apply. The candidates enrolled as a member of Home Guard Volunteer will have to undergo 45 days basic training at Police Training School, Valpoi.
