Digital Goa, Nov 28 – At several stages of my life, Goa has stood in a prominent position, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the 550th-year celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Canacona on Friday. “I don’t know how it happened, but it is the truth that at each turning point of my life, the land of Goa has been taking me ahead,” he added. During the event, PM unveiled a 77-feet bronze statue of Lord Ram and inaugurated a Ramayana Theme Park Garden at the Math. He also released a special postal stamp and a commemorative coin to mark the occasion.
