Dec 26- The ‘Goa Konkani Akademi’ (GKA) has been authorised as competent authority for the purpose of issuance of certificate of knowledge of Konkani to a candidate having 15 years valid Residence Certificate issued by Competent Authority. The certificate issued by GKA will be valid for recruitment in the Central Government Offices and Courts. Government has not authorized any other agency other then Goa Konkani Akademi to issue certificate of “knowledge of Konkani”, states an order issued by Prashant Shirodkar, Director of Official Language and ex officio Joint Secretary.
