The Goa Legislature Secretariat has invited applications for 10 vacancies across Group ‘A’, Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts to be filled on a regular basis at the Assembly Complex in Porvorim.
The advertised vacancies include two posts of Under Secretary (Group ‘A’ Gazetted), two posts of Section Officer (Group ‘B’ Gazetted), two posts of Reporter (one Marathi and one Konkani), one Public Relation Officer, two Stenographer Grade-II posts, one Driver and one Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) post.
The highest-paying post is that of Under Secretary in Pay Matrix Level-10 with a salary of Rs 56,100, while Section Officers will be recruited in Level-7 with a salary of Rs 44,900. Reporter and Public Relation Officer posts carry a salary of Rs 35,400, Stenographer Grade-II Rs 25,500, Driver Rs 19,900 and MTS Rs 18,000.
Candidates applying for Under Secretary and Section Officer posts must possess a law degree and experience as practising lawyers, along with knowledge of Konkani and Marathi. Reporter posts require shorthand and typing skills in Marathi or Konkani, while the Public Relation Officer post requires a graduate degree and knowledge of media and public relations.
Applications must be submitted to the Secretary, Goa Legislature Secretariat, Assembly Complex, Porvorim, by June 22, 2026, before 5.45 pm. The age limit for most posts is 45 years, relaxable by five years for government servants. All appointments will be subject to verification of certificates and eligibility conditions.
