Digital Goa, Dec 15 – Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane on Wednesday asserted that Goa needs to evolve as the spiritual capital of the nation, emphasising that spiritual tourism goes beyond religion. “Spiritual tourism does not have a religion. It can be Muslim, Christian or Hindu spiritual tourism,” he said, adding that promoting such tourism is the need of the hour. Rane also said that the narrative around nightclubs in Goa needs to be reworked, with greater focus on quality and regulation. He said nightclubs need to be kept under control. If given an opportunity, he would pursue such measures, he claimed. Rane added further that he would place his submission before the Chief Minister, who, as the head of the state, would take the final decision on the matter.
