Digital Goa, Sept 25 – Goa is set to gain new opportunities in industry, employment, and logistics following the Union Cabinet’s approval of a ₹69,725 crore package to boost India’s shipbuilding sector and reduce reliance on foreign vessels. CM Pramod Sawant said the initiative would create jobs for youth, enhance the state’s ports and shipyards, and strengthen both Goa’s economy and India’s maritime capabilities.
