Digital Goa, July 15 – Cyber Crime Police Station, Goa, has arrested a youth from Nashik in ‘digital arrest’ scam in which a victim from Goa was duped of rs2.14 crore. The accused, 25-year-old Rohan Jhadav from Nashik, Maharashtra, was arrested by a Goa Police team in Nashik. The accused contacted the victim on May 30, 2025 through WhatsApp impersonating as TRAI and CBI officers. They threatened the victim with a false FIR linked to the Naresh Goyal money laundering case and forced multiple fund transfers under the guise of verification.
