Jan 2 – Goa Police today promoted 113 personnel included 45 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) promoted to Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs), 44 Head Constables (HCs) elevated to ASIs, and 24 Police Constables (PCs) promoted to HCs. Goa Police also announced the integration of the Bhashini App, an AI-driven language translation platform to assist police personnel in communicating effectively with tourists speaking different Indian languages. A QR Code-based Feedback Mechanism was also introduced to allow citizens to provide real-time feedback on their experiences with the police.
