Jan 31- A high-level meeting on Disaster Management and Railway Evacuation was held by Goa police today. DGP Goa Alok Kumar who chaired the meeting informed that he held discussion with senior officers about the disaster response mechanism of Konkan railway police unit. The meeting focused on a revised SOP to enhance coordination, swift communication, resource deployment, and joint mock drills, ensuring improved passenger safety and emergency preparedness, he added.
