Digital Goa, May 9- In response to the evolving security landscape, Goa Police has intensified its efforts to enhance the safety and preparedness of the state. Key initiatives include high-level coordination meetings with the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, CISF, Railway Protection Force, and IOCL representatives, extending up to CM Pramod Sawant. Police presence has been increased along the coastal belt and near vital installations, and critical infra, supported by special checkpoints and Quick Response Teams.Border checkposts are witnessing strict checks, additionally, social media platforms are being closely monitored. As on date total number of persons verified by police include- tenants (22,229), servants (4,949), strangers(556), persons rounded up(2,467), persons arrested(190), hotel/guest houses checked(1,413), C forms filled(213), Foreigners(600), Kashmiries(515) combing ops (153)
