Digital Goa, Mar 18 – Goa State Level Expert Appraisal Committee(SEAC) under Union Environment Ministry has recommended grant of Environment Clearance to the Rs 250 crore, 8 floor Hotel Building Project by Worldwide Resorts & Entertainment Private Limited at Bambolim. The revised project which was earlier proposed as a residential project has a proposed built-up area of 32,971.41 sq mtr with 2 basements, Stilt and 8 Floors. “After scrutinizing the documents submitted by the Project Proponent, and after conducting the site inspection by the Committee members, the Committee decided to recommend the Authority for grant of Amendment in the Environmental Clearance for conversion of residential project to commercial use (a hotel),” states the minutes of SEAC meeting held on Feb 21,2025. Proposed construction of Hotel Building on Plot Bearing Survey No. 14/1, 14/2, 15/1, 16/1, 17/1, 17/2, 17/3, 18/1, 19/1, 19/2, 19/3, 20/1, 20/2, 20/3, 21/1 to 8, 31/1, 35/1, Plot No. 358 situated at Bambolim Village.
