🔸 Waste Management Corporation meeting reviews work of 6 major plants in pipeline
Digital Goa, June 12 – Goa Solid Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) meeting held today took review of the major plants being setup by GWMC such as Saligao SWMF, Cacora SWMF, Biomedical Waste Facility, Hazardous Waste facility, e-waste facility and C&D waste facility. It was also decided to inaugurate SWMF facility at Cacora during the meeting. CM Pramod Sawant chaired the meeting in the presence of Vice Chairman of Board & Revenue, Waste Management Babush Monserrate and other officials. “NGT appreciated Goa’s work and best practices adopted on Solid Waste Management and recommended it to other coastal states and N-E states, accordingly the GWMC will conduct workshops and national conference,” informed CM Sawant.
