Digital Goa, August 20 – Goa State Election Commission has begun the process of dividing North Goa and South Goa districts into 25 constituencies each for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections.District Collectors will act as Electoral Registration Officers(ERO), assisted by Mamlatdars of respective talukas. The constituencies will be based on the Assembly electoral roll as of Jan 1, 2025, ensuring geographical contiguity. ERO and Asst AEROs have been asked to prepare the Zilla Panchayat Constituency wise maps and submit the same along with the draft delimitation proposal to the Goa State Election Commission latest by September 11, 2025.
