Digital Goa, May 19 – Goa is aiming for 50% rooftop solar coverage in households, the launch of 63 model solar villages, and free solar pumps for farmers under the PM-KUSUM scheme, CM Pramod Sawant announced at the ‘Accelerating Solarization in Goa’ workshop held under the Swaniti Initiative. He also highlighted flagship schemes like PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and Mukhyamantri Mofat Vij Yevjan, offering up to 100% subsidy for rooftop solar installations.
