Digital Goa, Mar 10 –Longitudinal Cohort Study on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) like cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes will help the state understand health trends specific to Goa’s population and enable targeted healthcare interventions, preventive strategies, and policy development, opined CM Pramod Sawant. Sawant chaired a meeting on the study, an initiative of the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) in collaboration with Tata Memorial Hospital and the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford.
