Digital Goa, Jan 21 – Goa is weak to fight legal battle on Mahadayi issue, claimed Karnataka BJP leader and former CM of the state Jagadish Shettar. Stating that Mahadayi Water Dispute Tribunal has given Karnataka the right to divert water, the senior leader asserted, “No matter how much Goa fights, it will not help.” “BJP govt has done what the Congress could not do when it was in power,” he claimed. Last year Shettar had reportedly claimed that BJP Goa leaders, including former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar had agreed for Mahadayi project.
